Credo’s Annual 20% off sale is happening now through Sunday October 25th 2020! So many of my favorite skincare products are carried by Credo, of the brands I obsess over only Josh Rosebrook is not included. Below is a list of my favorites that I cannot live without. I will personally be rebuying what I am running dangerously low on like Ursa Major and restocking on Maya Chia, new and old products!
I also have teamed up with my friend Susannah of Second Half Beauty who covers the best makeup included in the Credo sale while I cover skincare! She worked in product development for years in the clean beauty sphere before having her daughter and starting her blog! She is knows the founders of many of the brands sold at Credo so I do not take her recommendations lightly. Let’s dive in!
Le Prunier – I cannot say enough good things about Le Prunier’s 100% organic plum oil. This beauty oil as Le Prunier likes to call it has greatly reduced my acne and helped my skin glow from the super food’s vitamins for your skin! Two dear friends of mine also has been blown away by the reduction in their acne using this product and the GLOW. I am obsessed with the scent, to me it smells like melted candy. I would wear it as a perfume. My detailed review includes talking about their sustainability practices like solar powered, goat farming and their third party verifications for being organic, vegan and cruelty-free. Packaged in a gorgeous black glass bottle with a rubber dropper
Indie Lee Daily Vitamin Infusion – I recently tried this in Indie Lee’s master class and was blown away after one use. This is a facial oil that can be used as a serum because it’s loaded with vitamins like Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin E, rosehip, squalane and avocado oil. It also smells incredible. I cannot pin point the strongest scent, though it is floral and made me smile putting it on. I do like Indie Lee’s 100% Squalane Oil too, though prefer the Daily Vitamin Infusion. Sold in glass with a rubber dropper and great for all skin types including sensitive skin. Leaping Bunny verified for being cruelty free.
Maya Chia The Straight A – If you are looking for a retinol to combat acne or fine lines (I need all the help I can get) this is on my wish list as I am using a different retinol that’s no joke twice as expensive and I’m not seeing results. The Straight A is a cult favorite that many swear by. Loaded with Vitamins A, C and E plus chia seeds like all Maya Chia products due to their ability to hydrate your skin. This product is almost always sold out so grab it while you can from Credo!
The Josh Rosebrook serum I use one to two times a day is not included in the sale. Osmia and May Linstrom are also not carried by Credo though I use their serums at night.
Moisturizer – face and body
Ursa Major Golden Hour Recovery Cream – I have been using this for a while, even when they had their old black packaging! I am about to buy my third jar. I am so in love with the lemongrass scent and the intense hydration provided by the smallest of dabs. In the fall and winter I use this twice a day and my skin feels so plump from the hydration focused formula! It has sea buckthorn one of my favorite ingredients as it’s so hydrating and long with vitamins A, C and E! The Golden Hour is packaged in a sleek glass jar that lasts me close to five months. It is easy to throw in your bag for a weekend getaways or a long trip.
Weleda Skin Food Original – I always travel with this because I can use this head to toe! I know people that do not leave the house without it. It is one of the few products in plastic that I recommend, but even if you do not have access to a free Terracycle bin at a Credo, Aillea, Follain, Vert, etc. you can mail this back to Terracycle via their free partnership with Weleda!
Tata Harper Restorative Eye Cream – Cannot rave enough about this eye cream. It hydrates and reduces the appearance of fine lines. The rare days I do not use this eye cream I can visibly see the difference. It costs $105 so a 20% sale is the opportunity to invest in a product that using it 2x a days lasted me 9.5-10 months. Very worth the money to invest in your skin. I also use this on my smile lines and around my mouth. I strongly recommend doing this for people who smoke or use straws as the wrinkles look the same, ask your doctor if you do not believe me! Detailed review here.
Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser – Still my favorite every day cleanser. I never travel without this and have been using the same bottle since before Covid, do you remember life before that?! The strawberry scent, and gentle chemical exfoliant are just a few reasons why I cannot live without this cleanser! Detailed review here.
One Love Organic Vitamin B Enzyme Cleansing Oil + Makeup Remove – This is One Love Organics’ best selling product and a best seller for Credo! I use this oil cleanser most nights to remove my sunscreen and small dirt particles that do not get picked up by a gel based cleanser. This is why I recommend using an oil cleanser at night specifically during Covid times as you really do want to remove the dirt from your face and keep the hydration in! It also smells like a piña colada!
Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser – I love this cleanser and am going to be so sad when I finish my bottle that I have had for one month shy of a year! My boyfriend and I both love how it feels on your face and neck. It is great because it is a gentle chemical (BHA) and physical exfoliant due to the super fine apricots Tata calls microspheres. This is not St. Ives Apricot Scrub that will damage your face! This is pure luxury and you are worth it!
Maya Chia The Optimist – My favorite essence to mist on my face to prepare my skin for my serums. If you love the scent of jasmine and a super fine mist this is for you! It is so hydrating and I feel like it has helped brighten my skin tremendously! This is great for all skin types including acne prone, mature skin and sensitive skin! You may smile putting this on, I sure do every time which is a great way to start and end the day. I am re-buying this during the sale! Detailed review here.
Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner – This is a best seller at Credo and for Indie Lee. I do prefer to use an essence to promote hydration, though when I do use a toner I often use this with a cotton square versus as a mist. In a masters class I took with Indie she said it was intended to be used as a “wipe off” toner so I use it that way. Like an oil cleanser, it can pick up any remaining resume left on your face that is not visible to the human eye.
Indie Lee Banish Solution – Feel a zit coming on or have a pesky black head, this dramatically helps me. Does not smell great, though it works wonders. If you are scent sensitive I would not recommend it.
Innnersense Inner Peace Whipped Creme Texture – Thick curly hair or thin, straight hair, this creamy texture works incredibly for people looking to add some volume and waves/curls to their hair. I can have beach waves using this on my thin, straight hair. My boyfriend uses this for his thick, curly hair. It is the only product of five that he has tried that actually does the trick and it’s the least expensive for a huge plastic tub of it. It does not make your hair look greasy like so many yucky palm oil based products. I use a dime size so this product will last at least a year for us sharing it. All Innersense products are unisex, too! This is carried only online at Credo.
Ursa Major Morning Mojo Bar Soap – Made with volcanic rock it gently exfoliates your body or hands and lathers well, too! I travel with this soap regularly for work and it feels awesome on my back especially. It also smells like eucalyptus and pepper mint so it helps awaken my senses!
