Annual 20% off sale at Credo!

Credo’s Annual 20% off sale is happening now through Sunday October 24th 2021!!!! Most of my favorite skincare products are carried by Credo. As usual Josh Rosebrook and Kypris are excluded! Below is a list of my favorites that I cannot live without. Let’s dive in!

Facial Oils

Indie Lee Daily Vitamin Infusion – I tried this in Indie Lee’s master class last year and was blown away after one use. I bought the full size. This is a facial oil that can be used as a serum because it’s loaded with vitamins like Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin E, rosehip, squalane and avocado oil. It also smells incredible. I cannot pin point the strongest scent, though it is floral and made me smile putting it on. I do like Indie Lee’s 100% Squalane Oil too, though prefer the Daily Vitamin Infusion. Sold in glass with a rubber dropper and great for all skin types including sensitive skin. Leaping Bunny verified for being cruelty free.

Maya Chia The Straight A – If you are looking for a retinol to combat acne or fine lines this look a while to grow on me but I do enjoy it! Loaded with Vitamins A, C and E plus chia seeds like all Maya Chia products due to their ability to hydrate your skin.

Serum

Maya Chia The Super Lift Vitamin C – Fantastic creamy texture that does not pill when other products are layered. I found this very moisturizing and great for acne too because of the niacinamide. Great for sensitive skin like I have and unscented. Also known to help with fine lines though I have not used this long enough to see an impressive enough difference to write about.

Sunscreen

Honua Hawaiian Skincare MALU – Hands down my favorite face sunscreen EVER! I’ve bought this twice already and plan to buy more! No white caste, does not pill, is moisturizing so you could use this as a moisturizer and 30 SPF non-nano zinc oxide! Smells like jasmine which teleports me to tropical places like Hawaii! A percentage of proceeds go to Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, a non-profit that educates the Hawaiian community and keeps our oceans clean.

Suntegrity Naturals Mineral Sunscreen Body – My favorite body SPF. Non-nano 20% zinc oxide is THE ideal body sunscreen. It does not leave a white cast if you don’t apply too much. It also washes off very easily in the shower (others do not!) and can say I did not get sunburnt once this summer on my body because of this SPF! My whole family uses it and I love the orange peel scent!

Moisturizer – face and body

Maya Chia The Super Blend Pressed Serum – Loaded with vitamin C and mega moisturizing balm. I have been using this since January 2021 and am a HUGE fan! After my hyaluronic acid serum I use a pea size amount every day onto damp skin.

Ursa Major Golden Hour Recovery Cream – I have been using this for a while, even when they had their old black packaging! I am so in love with the lemongrass scent and the intense hydration provided by the smallest of dabs. My skin feels so plump from the hydration focused formula! It has sea buckthorn one of my favorite ingredients as it’s so hydrating. Along with vitamins A, C and E! The Golden Hour is packaged in a sleek white glass jar that lasts me close to five months using it 2x a day. It is easy to throw in your bag for a weekend getaways or a long trip.

Eye Cream

Tata Harper Restorative Eye Cream – Cannot rave enough about this eye cream. It hydrates and reduces the appearance of fine lines. The rare days I do not use this eye cream I can visibly see the difference. It costs $105 so a 20% sale is the opportunity to invest in a product that using it 2x a days lasted me 9.5-10 months. Very worth the money to invest in your skin. I also use this on my smile lines and around my mouth. I strongly recommend doing this for people who smoke or use straws as the wrinkles look the same, ask your doctor if you do not believe me! Detailed review here.

Ursa Major Forest Alchemy Eye Cream – I was part of the trial for this eye cream so I’ve used it twice a day for over two months. It is incredible for depuffing your eyes and making them look wide awake when you are super tired! I did not notice my smile fine lines filling but mine are super minor.

Cleanser

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser – Still my favorite every day cleanser. I never travel without this and have been using the same bottle since before Covid, do you remember life before that?! The strawberry scent, and gentle chemical exfoliant are just a few reasons why I cannot live without this cleanser! Detailed review here.

Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser – I love this cleanser and am going to be so sad when I finish my bottle that I have had for one month shy of a year! My boyfriend and I both love how it feels on your face and neck. It is great because it is a gentle chemical (BHA) and physical exfoliant due to the super fine apricots Tata calls microspheres. This is not St. Ives Apricot Scrub that will damage your face! This is pure luxury and you are worth it!

Mask

Alpyn Beauty Wild Huckleberry 8-Acid Polishing Peel – Obsessed! I saw a huge difference in my skin. Made my skin feel baby smooth, removed pesky blackheads and brightened it! Also wild crafted ingredients from Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Ilia Lip Wrap Treatment Mask – Not a face mask but a lip mask! I love wearing this especially in Colorado day and night where it is dry as hell! Back in Boston I often wear it to bed and wake up with plump, happy lips due to the hyaluronic acid and mango butter! No sticky like a lip gloss!

Essence

Maya Chia The Optimist – My favorite essence to mist on my face to prepare my skin for my serums. If you love the scent of jasmine and a super fine mist this is for you! It is so hydrating and I feel like it has helped brighten my skin tremendously! This is great for all skin types including acne prone, mature skin and sensitive skin! You may smile putting this on, I sure do every time which is a great way to start and end the day. I am re-buying this during the sale! Detailed review here.

Toner

Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner – This is a best seller at Credo and for Indie Lee. I do prefer to use an essence to promote hydration, though when I do use a toner I often use this with a cotton square versus as a mist. In a masters class I took with Indie she said it was intended to be used as a “wipe off” toner so I use it that way. Like an oil cleanser, it can pick up any remaining resume left on your face that is not visible to the human eye.

Hair

Maya Chia Power Ful Multi-Correctional Scalp and Hair Treatment – Receding hairline or want fuller brows? This product works! I cannot believe how many baby hairs I’ve seen regrow or grow for the first time on my brows. Even my boyfriend Caleb noticed which is saying something!

Innnersense Inner Peace Whipped Creme Texture – Thick curly hair or thin, straight hair, this creamy texture works incredibly for people looking to add some volume and waves/curls to their hair. I can have beach waves using this on my thin, straight hair. My boyfriend Caleb uses this for styling thick, curly hair. It is the only product of five that he has tried that actually does the trick and it’s the least expensive for a huge plastic tub of it! It does not make your hair look greasy like so many yucky palm oil based products do. I use a dime size so this product will last at least a year for us sharing it. All Innersense products are unisex and Plastic Positive so they remove more plastic than they use for their packaging. Also are moving to PRC plastic, too!

Deodorant

Taos AER Indie Lee Energize Deodorant – When you sweat you smell like flowers even on a 90 degree day on public transit with no AC! It is incredible!!!!! It is packaged in #5 plastic so some people could recycle this in their local recycling versus bring to Credo’s Pact Collection program. Taos Aer is working on using PRC plastic and a refillable program too.

Taos AER Extra Strength Deo – Caleb’s absolute favorite deo and he’s 6’4″ and works out daily. He’s been trying different natural deodorants for me since March 2020 (the whole pandemic ppl) and this is the clear winner! The scent is for everyone and applies super easily.

Bar Soap

Ursa Major Morning Mojo Bar Soap – Made with volcanic rock it gently exfoliates your body or hands and lathers well, too! I travel with this soap regularly for work and it feels awesome on my back especially. It also smells like eucalyptus and peppermint so it helps awaken me and my senses!

Makeup and Tools

Jenny Patinkin Lazy Perfection Eye Lash Curler – I do not wear mascara but this perks my hooded lips right up and makes me look so much more awake. So easy to use and comes in a pink felt carrying case too! Always in my travel bag for days when I’m in a mask all day and want to feel and look great!

Axiology Super Fan Pack – I think this is worth the money because I love and use so many of these colors if I want to have blush, bronzer, highlighter, eyeshadow and or lipstick this box has you covered! Plum, Carmel, Champagne, Cinnamon, Peach and Chestnut are some of my favorites! Also completely plastic free packaging and packaged in upcycled paper from the shorelines of Bali! I adore Axiology’s vegan and planet values and the Latina founder Ericka Rodriguez!

EcoBrow Defining Brush – I use this brush to brush my brows out. I notice a huge difference with this especially if I add a little clear balm they stay in place!

Jenny Patinkin Organic Bamboo Reusable Rounds – I LOVE these! I use them daily with toner and put them in the mesh bag they come with in the wash and store them in the vegan leather bag they come in or an upcycled glass jar on my bathroom shelf.

Vapour Lux Conditioning Tints – I have both colors though I prefer Hush a smoky nude for my plum colored lips. Very hydrating and love that Vapour’s facilities use renewable energy to create their products!

Vapour Aura Multi Stick – I have this in Spark and I use it as blush and I LOVE it! Can be used as eye shadow and lipstick too. Love that renewable energy is used to create this product!

Toothpaste

Davids Natural Toothpaste – Peppermint + Charcoal, minty fresh and fluoride free just how I like it!

Gift Ideas!

Indie Lee Discovery Kit – A great gift for $20 to someone who has never tried Indie Lee or travels a lot like me! I loved the Brightening Cleanser and then bought the kit which is a fantastic way to try Brightening Cleanser, the Squalane Facial Oil which I like, but prefer the Daily Vitamin and their COQ-10 Toner which I adore!

BYBI Beauty 1% Bakuchiol + Olive Squalane Oil Booster – Ok the $10 price cannot be beat. It is small, though I did notice clearer skin when I used this.

Common Heir 10% Vitamin C Serum – The #1 thing on my wish list are the biodegradable capsules. This company is totally plastic free including the carrying case. Everyone that I know that has tried them love them, also so travel friendly!

MUN Anarose Rejuvenating Rose Toner – Dying to try this MUN Rose Toner! The ingredients list is fantastic: Bulgarian Rosewater, organic aloe, hyaluronic acid, prickly pear, willow bark, organic rose and jasmine!
